This plate commemorates the 50th anniversary of the film Gone With the Wind and was issued in 1988 by W.S. George Fine China. It is the second issue in the Golden Anniversary Series and depicts Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler during the burning of Atlanta. The plate is officially authorized by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Turner Entertainment Co.
