Goldette NY Perfume or Poison Locket Pendant Gold and Black on 18K GE Chain

This is a gorgeous vintage, mid-century pendant necklace. It's from designer Goldette NY, a popular costume jewelry maker who made high-quality pieces between the 1950s and the 1970s. The pendant is gold-toned, with black enamel and painted flowers. It was originally a perfume pendant, meaning it opens and held solid perfume. The pendant has been thoroughly cleaned, so it can now be used as a locket or "poison" pendant. You can add your own solid perfume, lip gloss, or use it store emergency medications as a pillbox pendant (I use a similar one to keep emergency allergy pills handle). The chain is modern; it's 18K yellow gold electroplate, in a classic rope design. The pendant measures 1.9" by 1.0" (including the bail), and it's on a 18" chain. It's in excellent condition, and it will come in a gift box.
