Is the distress on this pair all manufactured/part of the shoe? I can't tell. I know GG shoes come distressed looking but it's hard for me to tell if these are further worn in, especially the "dirty" look on the inner/sides of the soles.

@djmrotek it varies dependent on style. The soles are ribbed almost rather than flat and hold more dirt from wear. The scuffs on the front at the distressed style they came with. They are in good condition with no true wear on soles or the shoe at all.
