How much cushion is in the bottom?

Not too much. Normal flats I'd say. I was able to fit an insole in the when I wore them for my sisters wedding. They are very pretty

I'm always looking for gold flats. I'm just afraid they will hurt my feet. I just retained a nice pair of flats that hurt just one foot.
