Gold Sweetheart Stretch Bracelet Stroudsburg PA Teachers College 1946 ESU w. Box The heart center is hand engraved behind the seal. The seal bears ESU's emblem and reads "State Teachers College, E Stroudsburg, PA". The near the back of the heart the band is inscribed "1946". Inside the bracelet opposite the heart, you will find the marks "Phoenyx, Speidel Made". This bracelet is not marked as gold filled, although most stretch sweetheart bracelets we have seen are gold filled. It could be gold plated. We will not acid test as it would damage the plating if it is gold plated, and the plating is intact and rich. The condition is mint. It was never worn and was well kept. Even the box is in excellent condition. The bracelet is unworn as you can see from the photos. The stretch bracelet is 1/2 inch (13mm) wide. The heart centerpiece is 13/16 inch (21mm) tall. Resting on a surface, the inside measurement is 2 inches in diameter or about 4 inches in length. Since it can be stretched, it is adjustable up to 8 inches.
