Gold & Diamond Hoop Earrings

This is a beautiful pair of gold, diamond hoop earrings. Don't know much about the history or where & when they were made. I received from a late relative in the late 90s and have had them sitting in my storage facility since 2000. They are made of 925 silver with a gold vermeil finish. The design on the surface of the earring is inlaid diamonds. I believe it's called pave. I tested the diamonds and the do test positive with a diamond tester. I never actually wore them. They are marked 925 with the letters DBJ or DBI. It's a little hard for me to make out. These earrings are in excellent condition, so I'm not actually sure how much my relative wore them, but with good cleaning and polishing, they will probably look brand new.
