Most, but not all, pieces have some type of applied decorations in contrasting colors. Quite often, Misu Coman resorts to dark tones extended on large surfaces on which abstract motifs are usually displayed in contrasting relationships on matte backgrounds, and the contrasting areas gain a gem like surface. His glass work is so beautiful and detailed that some of his artwork has been offered, either through ignorance or deliberate misrepresentation, as Pre-1939 Czech or 1950's Murano. Misu Coman's glass sculptures have become highly collectible around the world, especially Japan, but also in countries like France, England, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Lebanon, Kuwait, Israel and the United States.
