Glass Bead Drawstring Flapper Purse Manganese Cadmium 1920s Purple UV Reactive

Features: • Purple Beaded Drawstring Purse Fringed • Flapper Style Drawstring Wristlet • Purple Micro Beads are likely UV Reactive due to Manganese or Cadmium or a combination of the two minerals. Glowing photo is taken using a 365 UV Light. Note that Manganese glows using a 365 light but will not glow under a 395 light. • Faded folds - please see photos • Note the beads that are faded glow slightly less bright - a lighter orange. • Measures approx 9" long (not including drawstring) by 5 1/4" wide • circa 1920's Condition: Pre-Owned Good Please see photos for details. One side of the purse is faded it appears from light exposure. There is no interior lining which I suspect there would have been at one time. Drawstring cord is in good working condition.
