Bear w/me, 3 more questions: does it have the oversized zipper, is the width the standard 7", is the height of bag 11"? All matters because I had the Antigona Soft 4 yrs ago and it had a narrow width which I didn't like.

You can use it both ways. The bag is large but it is comfortable to wear over the shoulder.
Just as a note, this bag has a hard structure.
