Germany Vintage Brooch, Root Beer Rhinestones, Pearl & Striped Center Stone

This gorgeous vintage brooch features an ornate, gold-tone filigree design with root beer color glass rhinestones and cabachon, faux pearls and is stamped "Made Germany" on the pin. The design is often associated with the Victorian Revival style.  ~ The large, oval cabochon has a swirling brown and amber color, also known as "root beer". ~ The brooch is accented with smaller, prong-set amber and brown rhinestones as well as small, round faux pearls. ~ The setting is an ornate, antiqued gold-tone metal with intricate filigree work around the central stone and edges. The beautiful prongs show some discoloration. ~ The domed, layered, and elaborate design is typical of mid-century costume jewelry.  ~ 2" diameter
