Georgia O’Keefe Art Lover People pin grew out of my ongoing sculpture series. I miss living in a big city like Chicago ( my hometown ) and attending all the exhibitions and lectures at The Art Institute of Chicago ( I graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I’ve always been learning art history , but recently upgraded some knowledge about artists I thought I knew a lot about. I’m inventing some type of artist family and now I’m opening up to new people to depict, including tributes and memorials to family, friends, etc. 6 unique pictures of Georgia O’Keefe make up the body of the pin. I debate over using actual pictures of the artists face or their art for the face. Georgia has so many engaging photos throughly her life and marriage to Alfred Stieglitz that’s what made my decision. Size: 4 1/2”x2 3/4”x1/4”. There is hand painting around the pictures and a glossy, protective varnish covers the entire surface. There is a metal pin on back to attach to your clothes. Signed on the back.
