makipet81@rawillis62 Hello, the tag hanging on the outside of the bag states 'vero pitone' which in Italian means real python. This bag is 100% genuine python as you can also see from the pictures. My mom purchased this bag directly from the maker in Italy. Please let me know if you have other questions. Thanks!
