Vintage raccoon ladies coat. Super warm. Nicely made with no worn/thin spots in the fur. Slim leather belt. Three large catches to keep coat closed and attractive scalloped bottom hem. I'm not a fur expert coat sold as is. Please view pic that shows small tear in armpit lining. Easy repair or coat could be relined.

lscbydesign @auroraskies8 I don’t think that would work. The coat is very heavy by itself and really wouldn’t lend itself to being layered.

lscbydesign @auroraskies8 I really have no idea. I’ve never tried to turn it inside out. Perhaps it would work but I certainly wouldn’t want to promise you that.

lscbydesign @auroraskies8 you got me curious so I tried turning the coat inside out. I found out that the fur is actually too dense to fit within the existing liner without ripping the seams. You could remove the lining and turn the coat inside out and have it stitched into a larger coat as it’s lining but that likely defeats your purpose of multiple layers. So now I know 🙂
