This item is a genuine General Electric TV/VCR remote control, model number VSQS0374. This remote has been tested and is in working condition. The remote does show signs of wear, including scratches and scuff marks. The battery door foam is deteriorated and foam particles may continue to rest in the battery compartment despite a thorough cleaning. There is no evidence of battery corrosion.
