Geisha Painting (Framed)

This is a Chinese artist, painting Japanese subject matter. This is fairly rare in Chinese art. Although the art of Geisha began in China, Japan is the only place in the world where the art of Geisha is still popular. There is nothing known about this particular artist. The Chinese Embassy couldn't even identify the artist. I have shown this painting to curators of several major art museums and nobody could help me with any information. If anyone knows anything about the painting, please message me.
