Garnet and Gold Pendant. Vintage, Estate

Elegant. Captive. Beautiful ... these are just a few words to describe this vintage (antique possibly) garnet and gold pendant. Since this is from an estate, the type of gold is not confirmed, only that it is gold per jeweler. It is approximately 5/8" wide and 1/4" deep. The center garnet is surrounded by 10 smaller garnets, and those are surrounded by 10 more even smaller garnets for a total of 21 garnets. They are all prong set. The large center stone has one of its prongs bent back, but it is there and can be repaired. The star design back is as beautiful as the front. January's birthstone pendant awaits a new home.
