Reposhing this item I purchased from @edmonddantes114. Loved it, but ready to rotate for something new.
Note: the posher I purchased from said it’s authentic- I am not sure about that. There is a hint of smoke but it’s going away slowly.

Hi, are there numbers behind the Gucci tag? And does it have any pockets? Thank you.

@lziklo5 hello. It does not have a code. I was informed many vintage Gucci bags do not have serial numbers. I questioned this thru PM as I was Leary but apparently they agree. I am out right now but will look when I get home about pockets.

Can you please lift the Gucci tag and take a photo of the serial number?

@wendypinchak hi there. There is not a serial number- per PM support older bags do not always have one.

It is not authentic. Gucci never made anything in Mexico.

@melsayles in the 1960’s they did. Per poshmark authentic.

@jasperjonesx2 I didn’t think Poshmark authenticated anything under $500? I’m a collector and that’s always what I’ve known about Gucci. Also should have a serial number tag. And I’ve never seen that logo on any. But I’m no expert.

@melsayles I thought the same thing so when I received it I requested a refund but they denied agreeing it was authentic.

@melsayles Gucci briefly entered into contract with a Mexican leather company that had been in business since 1966. This company manufactured and sold their product at authorized Gucci boutiques in tourist cities such as Mazatlan, Cancun, & Acapulco. Per google. If you look it up you will see this plus in the 60’s not having a serial number was common.
