Rare Boston Compass w/ Wood Box. I know this is vintage and I do know it’s rare. In great shape, it’s been stored in a hutch for years. Some discoloration which I feel is normal. Please refer back to pictures. 4”x 4.5” The Star Compass Company in Boston, Massachusetts manufactured compasses. The company was founded in Dorchester in 1905 by Salzgeber, who moved the company to East Milton in 1929. The company produced over 200,000 compasses between 1929 and 1969.
