It's a heavy ceranic with an off white base color and a brown antique wash. It has a beautiful bulbous bottom and an oval top opening with a sculpted spout. It measures 6" in diameter, a height of 8", 8" from handle to spout and holds 72 ounces of liquid. There is one miniscule flaw at the rim and I'm uncertain if it's a manufacturer's inclusion or very tiny chip (it's so small my camera wouldn't pick it up) otherwise in excellent condition.
