If you add 2 fresh AA batteries, it plays tapes very well! Unless you go out of your way to whip it around while playing a tape, it is pretty reasonable on wow and flutter! Very nice for a unit from the mid 90s! Battery compartment has never had a blowout! • A few scuffs and scrapes on the outside attest to the previous use and durability of this unit! • I will include the ORIGINAL 90S VINTAGE OLD SKOOLE EARPHONES, as shown!
