vixen676 @dotgallo Butttt, if you think about it, since shares are going nowhere now (😄), the two main reasons to share: are to maintain YOUR Poshmark Ambassador status and to show the algorithm YOU'RE an active seller. We no longer are 'helping' each other when we share. If you don't share, you're only 'hurting' yourself.

vixen676 @dotgallo Self sharing isn't nearly as important now, either. The default view when you see listings has (or will soon be) RELEVANT, not JUST SHARED... so self shclare some, but it's not import to break your back sharing your own closet multiple times daily.

vixen676 @dotgallo Change usually feels drastic at the beginning, but these changes were made to streamline your listings --> buyer's view. These changes were made to make more sales happen.

vixen676 @dotgallo It is way more common for buyers to see listings by SEARCHING (entering phrases or keywords "red Christmas sweater" or "minimalist velvet skirt") Buyers rarely shopped in the old feed. That's why Poshmark did away with the old school feed, and using AI and an algorithm to create a personalized FOR YOU feed for each shopper based on their individual (likes, searches, purchases, etc)

vixen676 @dotgallo One last thing, don't say "none of it matters" (share groups + sharing your own closet) It matters, it's just not AS important as it used to be now that the feed we were sharing to no longer exists. Share groups and self sharing are still important for your algorithm 👍

nickys1 @vixen676 @dotgallo I saw in the Lippies comment thread that if you go to your browser and click view your closet the share tool is available. I tested it out and you can share your entire closet this way. it takes longer and I also receive screen prompts to prove that I am not a bot.

This new way of things takes some getting used to. let's see how our keywords, brands and descriptions attract more buyers. 🤞🏽

vixen676 @dotgallo it sounds like that blue button might have been eliminated, as well. 🤔 Think about this, though... Poshmark didn't take the button away to make sharing difficult for us. With the new feed, sharing is no longer effective in getting your listings seen. It's more than ever about your photo, title, description, keywords and pricing. AI 'reads' the photo + description and if it matches someone's search, it will show up in their search results.
