ladybrow @carla0223 ok no thank you it has bad reviews saying it’s not good at drying hair the general consensus tends to be to use a brush blow dryer instead and then touch up with a traditional straightener for pin straight hair because the middle part of this one tends to be the cause for not being able to get pin straight hair as the hair bends in this area

ladybrow @carla0223 but the middle part doesn’t count since it’s not straightening the hair according to the manufacturer I meant just the flat part so it’s really more like 1 inch assuming it’s about half an inch on each side
