Unfortunately I went down a whole size, so they were too small! Wore them twice around the neighborhood to see if I could get by with the too-small size, but it didn't happen! I've only had these shoes for a week, so they are quite new. Some mild scuffing on the bottom from my attempts at making them work, and the leather is slightly softer than when I first tried them. (I'd count this as a plus lol, they were pretty stiff!)
