sarrafabulous Anyone have any advice on how to make sales? I'm somewhat new to poshmark and have over 50 listings with negotiable/reasonable prices and I haven't sold a thing! I even share daily and attend some parties. I'm getting discouraged. :(

closetenvy2 @sarrafabulous It's hard at first...I remember. The main thing you need to do is follow as many people as you can and share from their closets. They're more likely to follow you back. You have to share your entire closet to the party every night and try to share it also during the day. It's very time consuming. Your pics look good, so that's fine. You have several items listed that are not allowed on Posh, such as movies. Read about what's not allowed in the FAQs section. It's important because you cannot get a host pic in a party or host a party if you don't follow the rules. Once you get your closet ready with all rules followed, start tagging the hosts for upcoming parties in your items that you think would be good for the party. Just say something like this...@???? This would be a great Host Pick for the party. I'm a new Posher and follow all the rules. Have a great party! I'll be there cheering you on!" If you do get a host pick, lots of Poshers with tons of followers will congratulate you. Thank them, follow them and share from their closets. If they share back, your items will be seen by thousands more Poshers. You can also congratulate people that got host picks and follow and share their items and anyone that congratulated them. It kind of gets you in the "active Posher crowd" Also, have some kind of huge sale to get people to come see your closet. You can look at my BOGO FREE sale at the top of my closet. Yes, you don't make as much money, but it's still money you didn't have, and it gets your name out there. Also, once you get going, check out local thrift stores (Goodwill) for pricey like new or new items to add to your closet. It's a great way to make a good profit. Look for popular name brands only. The more pricey type items you have in your closet, the more traffic you'll get. You still need to be very reasonable even on high end brands. Good prices are what will get you new followers and sales. The only thing I noticed in your closet is that you don't have a lot of regular clothes. More if that will help. Keep your closet neat and organized. All jewelry should be together, all clothes together, etc. It makes it easier for people to browse. I hope some of this helps. I'll share some of your items tomorrow night when there's more traffic. I'm about to tag you with a bunch of Poshers that you need to add and share. They're awesome! 😆

sarrafabulous Wow! I'm blown away by the feedback I got after posting my question last night before bed. I didn't even read everyone's advice on my "meet your seller" post yet, but I see there's quite a few women looking to help out. It's very nice of them and especially you for taking the time to explain some things to me! I guess I read some more simple guidelines like "don't post knock off brands" and "don't use that third party paying site that won't let me list its name in this comment".. I'll have to look deeper into what else isn't allowed. I always wondered how to get involved in the host picks and I guess it makes sense now to tag them! Also, as for organizing... Every time I update a listing or share to a party, it all gets brought to the top of my closet... So I guess I just need to share listings by category first? Thank you so much for helping me out ❤️ now onto reading the advice from the women you tagged. :)

closetenvy2 @whiteside00 It does show you liked it. What you're supposed to do after hitting like is click on where it shows the number of people that have liked this post. For me it now shows 566. Then you go through and follow all of them. They will likely follow you back. Every time a new person sees this, they'll do the same, thus following you. If you want me to tag you on more follow games, let me know. I have A LOT saved.

closetenvy2 @whiteside00 That's some kind of glitch then. I'm sorry. I'd restart your phone and make sure you don't need an update by going to Poshmark in the app store. If it still won't let you, email Poshmark at support@poshmark.com. See if you can view people that liked on any other listing so you'll know if it's just this one. It could be that it won't load listings with this many likes.
