Funds for Sushi 🍣 My new little headache

Sushi was currently hospitalized for 48 hrs and if you have furry friend you may know vet/hospital bills are not light. If you’d like to donate another amount feel free to let me know What’s wrong? Sushi experience a urethra blockage which can be serious and common in male cats usually older male cats. Which is why this is such a huge scare bc he’s only 1. We noticed something was wrong when he peed outside of his litter box and his pee started getting a pinkish tint and then by morning it was full on blood we took him to his regular vet under an emergency slot and they took labs and xray when they noticed it was something more serious. They recommended him to be transferred and hospitalized, when we arrived they immediately intervened and took him to get unblocked and insert a catheter. They were worried about his kidneys and heart so they recommended a 48 hour stay since there was a lot of blood in his urine output. We hope it’s one time occurrence but unfortunately this means a change in his lifetime diet. He does not have access to my squish closet but I will now disclose a kitty friendly home 🫶🏼✨
