Fun Boho Vintage Carved Wooden Belt or Sash Buckle

Add a touch of elegance with this beautifully crafted vintage brown wooden belt buckle or scarf / sash buckle. Perfect for any occasion. The design on this large carved vintage buckle is quite similar to vintage bakelite pieces. The carved DESIGN? 🤔 Well, that’s in the eye of the beholder!! Could it be a butterfly design of sorts is cut into the buckle at one side, with other valleys & designs carved around the remainder of the buckle. Or, one of our family members swears they see cat ears, and the “butterfly“ could actually be a bow tie or similar for the cat. 🤷‍♂️ What do YOU see?? The tongue moves freely for you to adjust it. The metal bar that the tongue slides on has a slight bend in it, some tarnish, and it peaks out of the side of the buckle just a touch. Again, see photos. I would think this could be worn with nearly any type of vintage belt that accepts this sort of buckle. I believe you could even use it to hold your scarf in place on your neck, for your coat or scarf at your waist or hip. Not sure if that’s what it’s meant to do, but why not?
