Full/Queen Overshot Cotton European Coverlet Vintage Woven Reversible Jacquard

83” by 78" vintage European cotton coverlet. Vanilla white in color. In perfect never used condition. Shown on my queen sized platform bed. Fringe is on 2 sides. Belonging to my grandmother to cover the day bed in her living space.. She never used it. She carried to America by ocean liner in 1960. Just washed in my machine. Tumbled on low heat. Hung outside to finish drying. Structurally strong and heavy. Weighing 5 lbs. Please refer to photos and enlarge them so you know exactly what you're getting. My grandmother lived in Greece pretty much 90 out of her 104 years. All the while acquiring and collecting textiles that were either given to her in trade, or as gifts. When she was in her 60's ad 70's she'd come to the states and live with us for a year or two and then go back to her 4 room cottage on the island of Chios. She'd bring us textiles that my sister and I were to save for our dowries. I put them away in drawers hoping one day I'd find a purpose for this coverlet but haven't. It’s your turn.
