bailey52 Hi. Can you give a closer picture of the boot itself? I have these in what's called Grey and they're strangely similar in color but the toe area looks darker. I also have in Slate and it's much more of a broken in looking grey. Bizarre. Anyway if you can provide a closer pic of the boot itself that would be great!! Thanks

bailey52 @tmutch hi, and on the top, that's definitely not damage. They have a split top which makes them easier to get on and contributes a little to the slouch factor. As an outside I love these boots! Have 2 pair (one nubuck and one leather) and searching for my third. Really comfy and they break in quick and are light as compared to other Fryes. I know it's not my closet but these are great boots so I had to pipe up!
