The color is a distressed brownish-gray/brownish-black. White Western design stitching. Some of the stitching is loose, but not noticeable (they arrived to me this way). Gold side zippers.

hello how high is the shaft on these and would these work for 15-16 inch calf?

@kerricasino75 the shaft is a little over 16" in the back and 2" taller in the front. And, yes, these would fit a 15-16" calf! Let me know if you have any other questions. 😊

does the type box run narrow or more medium to wide?

@redhott20032002 I would say more narrow to medium. I'm a medium and they fit my feet but are a bit snug. I'm not super familiar with the brand so I'm not sure if they stretch out as you wear them and break them in overtime.
