Free People Wide Leg French Terry Muted Olive Pants

These fantastic wide leg pants by Free People are your new fave closet staple! They begin their story with FOUR rows of elastic at the top, creating a 3-inch waistband. Traveling down, there's a false fly front (decorative only) and two deep (11") pockets. At about knee length, a surprise horizontal seam enters the picture with what LOOKS like a scooped pocket, but alas, it is also only decorative. Around the back is a singular pocket on the right side, featuring 9-inches of depth and an "X' stitched on top. The color is subtle, and I am calling it muted olive -- it's a perfect new neutral (I just wish they photographed better). The fabric is a bit heavier than your average French Terry, but lighter than sweats, and the material is soft and supple.
