It's never came with the satin ribbon that is featured in the photo, but they are just like the photos of the person who originally listed them. They do not need the satin ribbon and you can weave anything through the grommets or wear them as is. I wore these maybe once or twice. Reposhing this item I purchased from @athriftyteacher.
