Free People Floral Mini Dress with Shirred Elastic Front

This adorable and demure (!) dress from Free People has all the right elements! It starts with a shirred elastic tapered front center panel (eight inches in length). Although the fabric is elasticized, the dress has a sewn lining, so the elasticized portion does not stretch. The lining ends 1.5" before the bottom hem of the dress. As mentioned, the dress, though sheer, is fully lined with the exception of the sleeves. The raglan sleeves end with an elasticized ruffle at the cuff. The dress has an empire waist and a 14" zipper in the back, with hook and eye closure. The floral pattern features coral and yellow flowers with light blue/grey leaves on a field of black. The material has a dimpled texture, which I tried to capture in the last photo. If you think of seersucker, it almost gives that rippled effect, but in a sheer fabric. So pretty!
