Frederick Post Co. Versalog Slide Ruler 1460 ~Vintage~ This model was manufactured by Hemmi in Japan exclusively for the Frederick Post Company and sold in the United States. It is made from bamboo with a celluloid coating and featheres a glass indicator with a metal frame. The Versalog 1460 was a very successful model, with several hundred thousand units sold. It is considered a significant piece for collectors of engineering and science memorabilia due to its historical importance as a computing tool. This measures 14" tall x 4" wide. It comes with the original leather case and can hook on to a belt loop is needed. The top part of the case is torn but can be repaired. See picture #12. This is a vintage item and condition is to be expected with age.
