Frederic Remington “The Stampede” etched 9”x11” framed art. Circa 1970

Frederic Remington Etched/carved plaster Plate “The Stampede” with etched signature of Frederic Remington. Beautiful thick solid wood Frame- vintage. Circa 1960-1970’s. I researched the signature and it appears to be valid signature. So I’m very unsure if it’s a reproduction. If it is, it would be worth much more than I’m selling for! Please note: unsure of material however it is a raised textured surface. plaster, composite board, acrylic or ceramic or a mixture of both.Please look at last two photos for back of artwork material upclose photos. Measurements: 9” X 11” and 2” thick solid wood frame. The plate itself is approx 1” thick. There is no glass in this photo. It’s not meant to be framed with glass because of the raised etched artworks surface and beauty, The etched image is a depiction of “The Stampede”, a renowned artwork by the American artist Frederic Remington. It portrays a dramatic moment of a cowboy on horseback battling the chaos of a cattle stampede in the American Old West. I’ve taken different photos in different lighting for a more accurate view of color. Frame is closer to the darker brown in first photo. Excellent condition. No visible flaws noted. This was my grandparents handed down to me recently by my mother. She believes it was purchased by my grandparents in 1960-1970’s.
