This 1977 Mothers Day plate is the first Mother's Day plate ever issued by the Franklin Porcelain Division for the Franklin Mint. A mother's devotion to her child and of the love that child gives is clearly depicted in this work of Art. Crafted almost entirely by hand in fine Parian porcelain. It is made in the tradition of Wedgewood. It is a beautiful light green color with ivory raised design of mother and child figures. Does not have box or certificate. Only flaw is very tiny on backside near the hole. See my pictures pointing it out. Very hard to see. Size 9.5 inches. Note: Stand not included. Non smoking pet free home.
