Frank‎ Sinatra

Gay Talese is a best-selling author who has written a dozen books and hundreds of essays. He was a reporter for The New York Times from 1956 to 1965, and has written for Esquire, The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine and many other national publications. His 1966 groundbreaking article, "Frank Sinatra Has a Cold", was named the "Best Story Esquire Ever Published," and he is acknowledged as the creator and the progenitor of the "New Journalism. Among his noted books are The Kingdom and the Power; Honor Thy Father, Thy Neighbor's Wife; and Unto the Sons, a memoir. A Writer's Life is a collection of his sports writing, while The Silent Season of a Hero is about Joe DiMaggio. His most recent book is High Notes: Selected Writings of Gay Talese.
