Franciscan Ware Desert‎ Rose Covered Sugar Bowl Half Moon Mark Vintage c1950

This embossed Franciscan Desert Rose sugar bowl with lid is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, scratches, or utensil marks. There are a couple tiny black specks under the glaze from the manufacturing process on the inside of the bowl. Otherwise it is in beautiful condition with no signs it was ever used! The trade mark stamped on the bottom is known as the "half moon mark" and indicates the piece was made between 1949 and 1953. It measures approximately 4.25" tall including the lid, 3" tall without the lid, and 5.25" wide including the handles handles.
