Framed Vintage German Shepherd Print

I happened across these vintage 1947 prints at an estate sale recently and was struck by the high quality and how well the artist captured the details of each breed so well. According to the Archive for American Art, Gladys Emerson Cook (1899-1976) was an artist active in Massachusetts and New York best known for her sketches of dogs and cats used in book illustrations and advertisements Each portrait is 16″ tall x 12″ wide, and in excellent preowned condition. This vintage colored print is protected under new plexiglass and has a new lightweight black frame- it would make a wonderful, decorative piece or gift. There is also a white mat behind the print if you would like to use it. Please note shadows look like marks on this print - there are no marks.
