This is an exclusive, limited edition giclee print featuring a boy with a ticket in his hand and his grandmother at his side crossing the street and waiting for a trolley to pass on the way to the Hippodrome Theatre. Exceptional, rich neutral colors- warm browns, grays and beiges. Highly detailed cobblestone streets and architecture. Very realistic. The boy and older woman, his grandmother, appear to be dressed in early twentieth century fashion.
The artist is a contemporary American professional illustrator and freelance designer who has also had a career as an actor and singer.
Archival inks and acid free paper are used. Giclee prints provide more vibrant color, longer lasting color, and crisper details than other types of print. The Truguard glass will preserve the colors of this piece.
Excellent condition. Professionally framed with exceptional materials by the Bertaux Gallery and the Framin' Place. Handcrafted, wood frame with rich color and intricate details. Two-toned. Frame features TruGuard glass to protect the piece from UV light. Linen mat. Felt pads protect the wall.
Great gift for anyone who loves history, transportation history, theatre, city life, or the arts. A signed COA with the artist's bio and a description of the piece ads to the desirability of the print and confims its provenance. There are a few minor indentations on the back, which is truly in exceptional condition.
This print is number 6 out of 500.
