An original authenticated appraised ($300 in 20-20) limited-edition 1854 print from Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige's (1797-1858) print-series "Series of Annual Events of Famous Places of the Eastern Capital." Authenticated and appraised by Mita Arts Gallery in Tokyo in 2020 print was done in April 1854. The print is un-numbered and is titled "The Seventh Month, the Twenty-Sixth Night, Takanawa. It depicts beauties on the deck of the Takanawa Teahouse in Spring 1854. Print measures 14.75" high x 9.75" across. Frame measures 18.5" x 13.5" x 1". Condition is of course more than 160 years old. Print-paper under-glass shows wear at top and an anomaly at bottom-right. All shown in the pictures. Frame-backing has some nicks. Please study the pictures up close - enlarging on devices.
A side note: Hiroshige's work influenced French masters Monet, Manet & Bonnard. Van Gogh created versions of Hiroshige's prints -- considered among his most beautiful works. The New York Times recently did a piece on the historical importance of Japanese prints from this period: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2020/08/07/arts/design/hokusai-fuji.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage
