Superb condition.pair of vintage paintings by an artist named Gris. The paintings feature colorful birds and are framed in a bamboo-style frame. The artist "Gris" is known for incorporating real dried leaves, often tobacco leaves, into their paintings.  The paintings are often described as being from the Art Deco period and are sometimes referred to as "Gris of Thailand".  The artist's signature, "Gris," is visible on the painting on the left.  The paintings depict different species of birds, with one showing two yellow and white birds and the other showing two birds with blue and red tail feathers.  The colors in the paintings are noted for being vibrant and the birds are said to have a three-dimensional appearance.
