Fostoria Glass American Clear Jelly & Lid Vintage Crystal Covered Candy Dish

This Fostoria American Clear jelly dish with lid features the iconic cube motif that defines the American pattern. Measuring 6 3/4 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches wide, this piece was originally designed for serving jelly or preserves, though it also functions beautifully as a covered candy dish. Condition: Excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Introduced in 1915, the Fostoria American pattern became one of the longest-running and most recognizable designs in American glassware, remaining in production until 1982. The jam/jelly dish was among the earliest pieces in the line, appearing in Fostoria’s first catalog supplement.
