Leather is medium brown color, in great condition and very soft. There are no scuffs or stains or anything that looks flawed. The hardware is brass and straps are adjustable. There is a side zipper pocket too. This could be a very small school bag or day bag. Does not fit my 16 in laptop but will fit my iPad. 10x11x4in
