Formal velvet dress/ jacket size 8

Vintage formal dress, from the eighties. Helping my mom clean out her closets.The dress is black velvet worn for a couple special occasions,then stored in her closet until now.It’s size 8 petite, has a jacket that is pretty eye catching; purple, teal and gold.It’s has shoulder pads and it is secured shut w/ gold button and has gold trim.
