The back is totally open as seen in close to the last picture. It zips up the back and the zipper is hidden. The fabric tie has been taken out due to comfort, but it is a rayon material so it's loose fitting with two pockets in the front. The inseam is 26 inches. 16 inches across the chest 14 inches across the waist.
