tdelvecc @dliv480 vintage Chanel hardware was plated with real 24k gold. with use over the last several decades, the plating wears and you can see the metal underneath. A professional will be able to remove the hardware and plate it with gold again.

tdelvecc @dliv480 just added pics of the most obvious flaws. Definitely needs conditioning. The plating wear is really hard to capture and most obvious on the strap.
