Today (9/1) we had to say goodbye to our beloved chocolate lab, Toby. Toby spent over 14 years with us. My friend's lab, Angel, had puppies back in 2003 when I was just 9 years old, + Toby was one of them. I still remember the day my mom surprised us with him in the car, + we were so happy that we screamed! He was such a special boy + I feel so lucky that I got to spend time with him + be there for his last moments. Now he's joined my Milo in doggy heaven. Rest in peace, baby. I love you. ❤️

thebronzemonkey @arianashallman I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my beloved Chocolate Labs Bentley and his best friend that was a rescue, Emmie, within a year of one another. It was heartbreaking. Praying for comfort and strength for you & your family during this difficult time.

izannunciation i had a chocolate from when i was 5 until i was 15 he was my angel baby too. his name was mocha (i was very set on having a food name but my mom was not caking our dog got chocolate 😝) he was the first dog i had who we had as a puppy and that was truly mine. my heart goes out to you although this post is partially dated, i thought it was a sweet post and i recently just lost another one of my babies this month.

bohoreclaimer Awe...lost my chocolate, Huckleberry Finn in 17 at 14. Always so hard. I have 6 rescues now...all between 5-6 going to be tough in 5-10 years😩. But need to look at positive...chances are they wouldn't be here now.
