Folk Art Charred Wood Alligator BBQ Sign

a true one of a kind piece, rescued from a long night bonfire on the beach. strong wood that refused to burn, though you see the chars left behind. It's carefully preserved and designed with many coats of polyurethane protecting the charrs, shells and sand showing the critter within. the top is about 1.5" wide so can be used as a narrow shelf or to prop something on. the back is flat, so can fit against a wall. the wood is solid and strong. artist is Alice, date is 1/2013...HAVE FUN!
