Foley Handheld Food Chopper

This item is a vintage Foley food chopper featuring stainless steel blades and a red wooden handle, designed for manually chopping fruits, vegetables, or nuts. It operates with a spring-loaded mechanism that raises the blades after each downward chop. The tool typically measures approximately 7.5 inches in length. Found this at an estate sale and have never seen one before. Love the look. While the handle is attached and the chopper works per design, the handle feels a little loose. This may or not be made this way to allow the chopping motion. Like I said, I’ve never held one before this weekend! Thanks for looking.
