You may want to go up a half size for some extra wiggle room as these do tend to run narrow. Don’t be fooled by the conventional, low energy definition of their name. This one has room to adjust for a high instep, and the ankle is low enough that there's no bumping or rubbing-- good for the break-in process. New rubber sole for this shoe is heavier than the old crepe sole this family used to have, but feels more solid when walking.
